Becoming a therapist is more than learning skills. It is a process of becoming. As an LPC-Associate, you are developing your clinical voice, confidence, and presence while doing deeply meaningful work with clients. Supervision is where that growth is supported, shaped, and deepened. I offer a space that is both grounding and growth oriented, where you can strengthen your clinical skills while also developing a deeper understanding of yourself in the work.
Supervision with me is a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where you can think out loud, ask questions, and explore uncertainty without fear of getting it wrong. I offer honest and thoughtful feedback along with guidance and gentle challenge when it is helpful for your growth. There is also consistent attention to both clinical skill development and your own internal experience as a therapist. It is also a space where you can bring the full reality of your clinical work. This includes cases that feel stuck or emotionally charged, questions about interventions or direction, and moments where you are unsure of your clinical instincts. It also includes your internal responses, doubts, and observations about yourself in the therapy process.
My clinical work is rooted in relational and depth-oriented approaches, and this naturally informs supervision. Together, we may focus on couples and relational dynamics, attachment patterns, trauma-informed work including EMDR-informed conceptualization, perinatal mental health, grief and loss, self-worth, and the role of countertransference and use of self in the therapeutic process.
Together, we slow things down, get curious, and work toward clarity and confidence in your clinical decision-making.
Finding the right supervisor is an important part of your professional development. It should feel like a relationship where you can be both supported and challenged in a meaningful way. I offer a consultation to connect, answer questions, and explore whether this feels like a good fit.
If you are interested in working together, I welcome you to reach out to schedule a consultation.
