I earned my Bachelor’s in Biology with a Psychology minor from Texas A&M University and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. Over the years, I’ve developed a specialization in supporting teen girls, women, and parents through life’s challenges.
In therapy, I create a safe space for you to unpack whatever is bringing you in. My work focuses on complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, grief and loss, perfectionism, childhood abuse, self-esteem issues, shame, and codependency.
As an EMDR-trained therapist, I help individuals process negative self-beliefs, fears, traumatic experiences, and childhood wounds. I also specialize in preverbal trauma, supporting those navigating adoption stories and early attachment wounds. My approach integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), an attachment-based lens, and polyvagal theory for a holistic healing experience.
I am passionate about maternal mental health, supporting women through perinatal and postpartum challenges, neonatal loss, traumatic births, infertility, high-risk pregnancies, and parenting. I also work with mothers adjusting to new identities, expectations, and unexpected diagnoses, such as reproductive issues and congenital disorders. My training in Gottman’s Bringing Home Baby helps couples strengthen their relationship as they transition into parenthood, improving communication, resolving conflict, and fostering equality.
Additionally, I help individuals explore their spiritual identity, whether they are deepening their faith or processing spiritual abuse and painful religious experiences. Many struggle to validate their emotions when those around them had a different experience—I provide a judgment-free space to explore these complex feelings.
My goal is to support you in making sense of your experiences, healing from past wounds, and building a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.
